Mind Your Gap(s)
We love to fill stuff up. Pick and mix bags, our days, our bellies.
But when things are packed in, with no space, we can’t breathe.
I leave space in drawings so you can fill them in.
Books are cool because you can imagine the characters and settings.
Poetry is beautiful because you can read it 10 times and still find new things inside.
When we crack, or break, it makes space to let the light in for newness.
So why not leave some space, let a gap appear and see what can come in? I bet you’ll create something beautiful.
