I am inspired by the human body—its strength, resiliance, and capacity for change.
Be sure to love every body.
Art has always been more than just an expression for me—it’s a reflection of the way we see ourselves and how we connect with others. For much of my life, I have struggled with body image, focusing too much on how I looked rather than how I felt. But as I’ve grown, I’ve realized that what truly matters isn’t appearance—it’s the relationships, emotions, and experiences that shape us. My work is an exploration of this journey, a visual representation of shedding external worries to focus on something deeper: human connection.
Through my art, I deconstruct the human form, stripping away the unnecessary and challenging the viewer to reconsider what makes us whole. My figures exist in fragments—arms without hands, torsos without faces—yet they are full of weight and presence. By removing identifiable features, I invite the viewer to see beyond the surface and engage with the universal emotions beneath. The absence in my work is not emptiness; it is an invitation to fill in the gaps with personal meaning.
I am deeply inspired by the way we interact with ourselves and others, how we carry the burdens of self-perception, and how we seek belonging beyond the physical. The missing elements in my figures represent the distractions we let define us—the way we fixate on clothing, appearance, or societal expectations—when in reality, those things do not complete us. What remains in my work is movement, connection, and presence—the true essence of what it means to be human.
Each piece I create is a step in my own journey toward self-acceptance, a reminder to let go of superficial concerns and focus on the love, friendships, and moments that make life meaningful. I hope that my work resonates with those who have ever felt disconnected from themselves, those who have questioned their worth based on appearance, and those who are searching for something deeper.
At its core, my art is about rediscovering what truly matters. It is about connection, vulnerability, and the beauty of imperfection. It is a reminder that we are more than the sum of our parts—we are the relationships we nurture, the emotions we share, and the stories we carry.
After studying art at school and college, I began a 12-year career in finance for brands including Apple and Red Bull.
Now a recovering accountant, I spend my time running my creative business, supporting others to develop their businesses in The MOB, a network I cofounded in 2022, and raising my family.
